After forty years in the saddles of Harley-Davidsons, on long hauls, short trips and race tracks, eventually, we have compiled a tool set, which is the must-have combination to perform routine maintenance works and on-the-road emergency repairs. Even on the PanAm Tool Kit was, basically unchanged, part of the equipment we had stashed into the saddlebags. Chain tensioning (primary and secondary), plug changes, oil change, points ignition timing, valve adjusting - for any job, which naturally occurs during long trips, there is exactly the right tool. No compromises. This also counts for quality, because every single component of this kit is a class A tool by the German manufacturers GearWrench, Stahlwille, Walter, Knipex or Felo. Admittedly, this ends up a bit more expensive but, on the other hand, this kit is a once-in-a-liftime purchase. A super heavy duty canvas roll holds all parts securely and rattle-free in place. In case of loss all single components are available separately.

If it’s rumbling down Interstate 8 to the beach or riding with your Knuckle, Panhead or Shovel ridin’ buddies to your favourite lake in the mountains: even the best cared for Harley, once it has more than 4 or 5 decades on the odometer, every now and then can surprise you with a show-stopping mechanical gremlin, resulting in an unwanted stop by the roadside. So, what do you do, call a tow truck?

Naw. Better to have a tool roll on board with exactly the right assortment of wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers and small parts to get your chopper going again.

That’s why we put together the tool-roll-to-end-all-tool-rolls, filled with over 40 years experience of riding this world’s roads and the knowledge that comes with it; one that really earns the name "Roadside Companion".

Inside you’ll find open ended wrenches in different sizes, an adjustable wrench, a plier wrench, screwdrivers, a test lamp, wire brush, spark plug socket, jumper wire. Added to that an assortment of nuts, bolts, washers, lockwashers, hose clamps, safety wire, zip ties, insulating tape, cotter pins and a clevis pin.

All this has been wrapped up in some heavy gauge (405 g/m²) oiled cotton canvas sourced from the UK. It comes with a GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certificate and has a fold-out flap to keep your knees clean and your small parts from disappearing into the underbrush. Heavy Swedish made leather straps hold everything together.

This breakdown relief kit is insurance against technical issues that can stay in your saddle bags at all times. It also serves as a basic workshop starter set for those who are new to riding old hogs. Plus you get the chance to provide help to other riders in a bind, thus making you a true roadside companion yourself.

Classic Harleys well into the 1960s feature lots of slotted screws on engine, transmisison, primary etc. which you don‘t want to tighten or loosen with a cheap screwdriver. It will mar the slots in no time and make you look a poor mechanic. This special edition The Cyclery screwdriver set includes the exact size screwdriver for most slotted screws you find on older H-D models. They feature hollow ground tips to perfectly fit the respective slot, avoiding damages and keeping your expensive hardware in good shape. The square shanked blades are hardened to R/C 52-56 and are guaranteed not to twist or chip. Engines with a leaking intake manifold are hard to kickstart and will never run properly. That’s why you need one of these leak testers in your workshop, which will once and for all take the guess work out of your installation job. Just bolt them to your manifold (use the stock gasket!), close both intake valves, by slowly turning the engine and with an air hose hooked-up to the G 1/4” fitting apply up to 10 psi of pressure. Spray soapy water around the gasket and manifold clamps and in case of appearing bubbles you can clearly spot any air leaks in your intake system.

To install the pinion shaft bushing OEM# 413-15 and to drill the dowel pin hole to the factory location.

Tool for lapping rod races to precise tolerances. Each set includes 1 x 1 1/2” lap head, 1 x 1 5/8” lap head and 1 x shaft.

Many ioe engines idle irregularly or start badly due to a leaking intake housing/cylinder joint. This professional lapping tool cures this problem. The kit consists of 2 lapping heads and 1 lapping disc which allow to reface the respective surfaces of 1000cc and 1200cc engines.

The compression screw features an extremely durable heat-treated steel tip to press out chain pins. However, we recommend the side pin heads to be ground off flush.
