The Cyclery Mesinger No. 1 Solo Seats
The Cyclery Mesinger No. 1 Solo Seats
The Mesinger No.1 Cushion Suspension seat goes back to the year 1915 when it was first used on a Harley-Davidson and other American brands. The factory stopped offering it as stock equipment around 1925 but it stayed popular for its narrow and more sporting shape. The saddle top has an unsupported center section whose tension is adjustable by means of a screw underneath the front nose. Besides stock mountings it also fits all large saddle tees 1934-up so it can be easily fitted to later models. The saddle top is made of top quality genuine leather and sports the stamped Mesinger logo just like the the original pattern.

The Cyclery Mesinger No. 3 Solo Seats
The Cyclery Mesinger No. 3 Solo Seats
Excellent reproduction of the famous Mesinger No.3 cushion suspension seat as used on Harleys and Indians from 1925 to 1933 and on the Henderson KJ from 1929-1931. This seat has the saddle top stretched only over a frame, thus the central area is, so to speak, self-supporting. The top's tension is adjusted by means of a set screw. This feature and the anatomically shaped central vent area make the Mesinger No. 3 one of the most comfortable of all solo seats. It also fits models after 1934 with a large saddle tee. The saddle cover is made of the finest leather and has the embossed Mesinger logo of the original template.

Its tension is adjustable via a screw in the front for excellent comfort. Fits all large saddle tees 1934-up and can easily be adapted to later models. The Cyclery Mesinger Racer Solo Seats
Phantastic reproduction of the legendary Mesinger Racer seat, which was equipment of most American race bikes during the Teens and Twenties. Absolutely perfect down to the last detail, handcrafted by a master saddler using the finest cowhide available. It is really good to know that such guys still exist. Certainly looks cool on Old School Bobbers or Retro Racers, too, definitely better than bicycle saddles.

Buddy Seats 1933→
Buddy Seats 1933→
Said to be an idea of William S. Harley and certainly one of the best accessories the factory ever made. When the Buddy Seat was first offered in 1933 it almost instantly became one of the top sellers among the accessories. At last there was an exciting and comfortable possibility for passenger transportation. The keepers of moral and order sure would have preferred the retention of the (never popular) tandem seats but once the Buddy Seats had been introduced on the market there was no turning back. "There's no better experience in life than a ride with one's favourite girl holding on tight when the day is summer warm, the road good and the V-twin is running smooth" (Herbert Wagner).
