Hence these complete, ready-to-install wheel assemblies work as stock replacements but feature an upgraded hub with modern tapered roller wheel bearings. To add to the authentic look the black 18” rims have the correct design and a Kelsey-Hayes (KHW) rim stamping. The hubs accept all stock drum brakes.

These inserts completely replace the single row roller bearings in the interchangeable wheel hubs of 1930-1936 V models, including the bakelite thrust washers so prone to wear. Bearing load is distributed to a much larger area and the load on brake drum splines and bearings will diminish considerably.
The sleeves are CNC-machined and stand out for their high quality and accuracy of fit. The double row sealed angular ball bearings used in the insert ensure durability and perfect function without the disadvantages of the original construction. In addition, the outer sleeve is equipped with three lubrication holes to allow grease refill via the Alemite nipples without disassembly.
