Cannonball StealthStarter SSK-R Kick Drive Rigid Frame
The Cannonball StealthStarter system converts your classic kickstart-only Harley-Davidson to electric start. After installation you just push the button or turn the key to fire up your classic Big Twin.
The Cannonball SSK electric start system bolts between kicker cover and transmission case. The stock kick starter can be retained. Due to the system’s low profile, only ¾” (19 mm) wide construction the overall appearance of your motorcycle will remain virtually unchanged. Primary drive, primary housing and oil tank will stay untouched.
Installation is fairly easy and straightforward. The kit includes everything needed for the conversion except for the extended throwout bearing, battery, wires and starter button/switch.
If the bike is still equipped with an early stock 6 V electrical system, you will have to convert this to 12 V. Depending on the configuration some other options are available separately.
Since the kicker cover moves 19 mm to the right the following modifications may be necessary:
A stock 2-1 exhaust system will have to be routed slightly outward to compensate for the offset of the kicker cover. , A longer clutch release lever will be necessary on rod actuated configurations like Moustraps or Footclutch. A longer lever can be ordered seperately if needed., A extended throwout bearing must be ordered seperately for your type of clutch pushrod since the stock pushrod will be 19 mm too short.,
A longer brake crossover shaft will be necessary on all bikes using the original mechanical rear brake in conjunction with the original 2-1 or similar exhaust. A longer crossover shaft can be ordered separately if needed. ,
Original rear fenders need to be slightly dented for starter motor clearance. Alternatively, an aluminum “Dent” can be ordered separately. In this case the fender needs to be cut out to allow the “dent” to be mounted with the original lower fender mount bolt and the two oil tank/battery tray bolts.

This special fuel valve by Prism Supply fits directly into the 3/4"-18 tank bung originally used on Harley-Davidson Knucklehead and Panhead fuel tanks – ideal for vintage bikes, old-school restorations, and custom projects. It features a 5/16" diameter hose barb and an integrated fuel filter, ensuring clean and reliable fuel delivery. For a snug, leak-proof fit, we recommend using fuel lines with a 1/4" inner diameter.
Fuel flow is controlled by rotating the lower cylindrical operating piece with the two grooves, allowing precise on/off operation without twisting the attached fuel line. The original crossover line can still be used, while the internal through-tank linkage is completely eliminated.
The kit includes two brass sealing washers and a cap for the top of the tank. Available in brass or stainless steel.

That placing sheepskins on the relatively hard horse saddles significantly increased riding comfort was already known to the cowboys. So it didn’t take long until sheepskins were also fitted to the Troxel and Mesinger seats of the pioneer motorcycles of the 1910s and 1920s. The Wrecking Crew came to greatly appreciate this during the Cannonball Race in the USA, where riding times of 8–10 hours a day on the 1915 H-D Model J were quite normal. It’s truly amazing what a difference a piece of sheepskin can make. It’s super comfortable, insulates against engine heat, and keeps you warm when temperatures drop. Even a rain shower isn’t a problem, as sheepskins naturally absorb very little moisture. Finally, such a cover is also an excellent way to protect an aged original seat that you no longer want to expose to the elements.
The reproductions of these seat covers by The Cyclery are made in Norway from Wellington sheepskins, precisely following the original patterns. The edges feature a canvas piping with sturdy metal eyelets and a drawstring, allowing the cover to be quickly installed and securely fastened. And if the bike has to spend the night outdoors, it can just as easily be removed in no time.

As faithful, docile sidevalves, the 750 cc Harley-Davidson models have a small power shortfall. To correct it, the rule is: nothing replaces cubic inches… except more cubic inches!
With Truett & Osborne Stroker flywheels, the stroke increases from 3-13/16” to a full 4-1/2”, giving 876 cc instead of 742 cc (54 cuin instead of 45cuin).
Special Stroker pistons are required and are also available. Installation is not straightforward: the flywheels must be balanced to the piston and connecting rod weights, and the engine cases and cylinders must be machined.
We therefore recommend consulting an experienced workshop.

Quite some S&S engines have been delivered with classic style ribbed cam covers using modern allen screws with 1/4”-20 Thread in counterbore holes. It is not possible to change to classic OEM Style sloted screws - even if they do have the right thread for the aftermarket case - since those would require a cam cover with countersink holes. This kit consists of 12 hybrid screws to fit counterbore holes but having the classic head of OEM countersunk screws.

Dyna S Ignition
The Dyna S ignition from Dynatek fits all Harley-Davidson cam covers on Big Twins (1970–1999) and Sportsters (1971–2003). It can serve as an electronic replacement for the original breaker points and condenser through 1978 or as a substitute for faulty control modules on Late Shovel and Evolution engines. Models originally equipped with electronic ignition require an additional advance mechanism.
The Dyna S switches much more precisely than mechanical points. The advance timing adjustment is purely mechanical and, once correctly set, requires no maintenance.
Available as Dual Fire (both cylinders fire simultaneously, as in the original) or Single Fire (each cylinder fires separately at the end of its compression stroke).
