S&S Carburetors

The legendary Drag strip and salt lake world record carburetor. A must for all pure-tech aficionados! Conceived for Big Bore and Stroker engines, but yields more power for stock engines, too. The Easyriders Streamliner, then world's fastest Harley (530 km/h), was equipped with S&S Super B carburetors. Comes without air cleaner and manifold which must be purchased separately.

The S&S Super E and G carburetors are specifically designed for Harley-Davidson Big Twin and Sportster engines. They feature adjustable accelerator pump for instant throttle response at any rpm. The ejector nozzle is located in line between the main discharge tube and the butterfly for undisturbed air flow. With the rider in mind the idle mixture screw has been angled for greater accessibility even with 5 gal. gas tanks. The enrichment device also was refined with a large variable position lever attached to the air cleaner backplate where it is easy to operate even with thick gloves. The throttle spool assembly is designed for later style two cable pull open - pull closed throttle. Cables are not included and must be purchased separately. Following the tradition a teardrop shaped air cleaner has been retained but it was redesigned to reduce the installed lenght of the carb assembly. The new filter element has 19% more filtering area and combined with other design changes makes up to 14% more flow. S&S Super E & G are approximately 40 mm shorter than Super B carbs and provide easy clearance for Fat Bob tank applications and good rider comfort.
The Super E carburetor has a 48 mm throat and is recommended for use on any Big Twin and Sportster engine with stock displacement or big bore/stroker lower ends, aftermarket exhaust systems and cams.

S&S continues the success story of their Super E carbs with a special Black Series edition that was first released for the S&S 55th Anniversary in 2013. These carbs feature a distinctive gloss black Enduraguard coating, which is heat and chemical resistant. In addition to cool cosmetics the Big Bore versions have specially machined venturis for up to 7% more flow. The Black Series carbs are not offered as complete kits, but as carburetor only. That gives you complete freedom to work with these carbs in any custom application.
