High-performance S&S carburetors

The vision of George Smith, one of the two founders of S&S, was clear and simple: "I want to make all Harleys faster". Before any major modifications to the engine, one of the best ways to do this, is through the carburetor. Since the introduction of the S&S MGL carburetor in 1980, S&S carburetors have been continuously improved, and today's carburetors still stand for the slogan "Proven Performance". In 2004, S&S celebrated the 500,000th Super E, also known as the "Shorty".

In the meantime, the Super B carb is getting a bit long in the tooth and is now only available in limited remaining stock. Its successor, the well-known above-mentioned Super E, was a real leap forward when it was introduced: starting with a stepless adjustable choke (the Super B only had an all-or-nothing setup), plus 40 mm less installation length, a standard accelerator pump, and 20 % more filter surface — it was way ahead of its predecessor.

So in addition to considerably enhanced overall performance, an S&S Super E carburetor means more space for your right thigh and knee, better accessibility of the choke device and advanced throttle control by use of a return cable as on 1981 and on Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

In addition to the carburetors, we offer all available jets and spare parts, also for older carburetor types. Gaskets and O-rings are another part of our S&S carburetor range, along with a truly extensive selection of accessories from Bates, DynaMite, Moon, The GasBox, and Thunderjet.
