Seals for tank accessories

Petrol tanks themselves have no seals. They are either leak-proof or need to be re-soldered.

Seals for tanks include tank cap seals or the sealing rings for the inner components of fuel taps. This also includes gaskets or sealing rings for fuel lines. Newer bikes also require seals for the fuel pump and for the fuel gauge (fuel level sensor).
