The Cannonball Stealth Starter can give classic Harley Big Twins (with rigid or swingarm frames) the almost invisible option of starting by pushing a button. For reliable operation this system needs a powerful 12V Li-Ion battery, a solenoid, additional wiring and circuit breakers. To avoid an unsightly mess we developed this solution that incorporates everything inside a humble looking Harley HM5 battery case. From the outside it’s as stock looking as the 6V original, but the electrics inside are state of the art. In the two compartments there’s room for a 12 cell Antigravity Li-Ion battery and all necessary electrical components. A stock like lid looks as innocent as the vintage acid lead battery it replaces.

After installation you have two options:
use your Kill Bill Switch like an ignition switch. Half a turn out and the current is interrupted., use your Kill Bill Switch as protection from manipulation and theft. When you leave your bike remove the thumb screw and thus disconnect the battery from the electrical system.,

These brackets feature a precise cutout for the respective switch so it cannot turn while tightening the nut. They bolt in various positions to your kicker cover studs.

Use this spanner to securely tighten or loosen the special ring nut that comes with your round type ignition switch. A great alternative to pliers which will inevitably scratch your nut.

If you don’t like the standard ring nut that comes with your round type ignition switch, here’s your quality alternative. Hex style flange nuts which are CNC machined from stainless steel. Now you can tighten your switch down with a spanner so it won’t shake loose after a few miles down the road. A drop of thread locker doesn’t hurt though.

Installing Custom handlebars on classic Harleys often means omitting the manual advance control cable. Turning the timer assembly by hand is no problem, but it is crucial to keep it safely in its fully advanced position, once the bike is started. Instead of using the usual hardware store spring or rubberband we recommend a professional solution. The Timer Lock assembly features a spring supported hook, which securely holds the control cable stud. For starting you quickly hook off the lever, turn the timer to its fully retarded position, and when the engine fires, turn it back to fully advanced and secure again. Dead easy and safe.
