Exhaust pipes for Knucklehead engines

2-in-1 manifold for stock bikes or 2-in-2 manifold for Bobbers or Choppers (upsweep, side-by-side, shotguns, Dago style). All pipes for Knucklehead engines are inserted into the cast heads. There are frame clamps that hold the manifolds in position. The outside diameter is a standard 1.75".

The manifold does not fit between the engine and the frame. What to do?

The squish pipe, i.e. the crimped, slightly S-shaped pipe, can be inserted between the footboard mount and the engine housing without any problems on original frames and engine housings. Problems usually occur with accessory engine housings whose housing walls are reinforced. To prevent the squish pipe from being unnecessarily dented or squeezed further than necessary, it is best to loosen the four engine retaining screws, tilt the engine slightly to the left, thread in the squish pipe and the problem is solved.
