Exhaust pipes for side valve engines

2-in-1 pipes for stock bikes or 2-in-2 pipes for Bobbers or Choppers (upsweep, drag pipes). All pipes for side valve ("Flathead") engines are inserted directly into the cast iron cylinders without a gasket. It is often seen that self-tapping screws are used through the flanges in an attempt to prevent the pipes from falling out. Such screws are not original and there are actually extra frame clamps to hold the pipes in position. Manifolds for 750s have 1-1/2" dia., the 1200 and 1300 cc models have 1-3/4".
