Some Linkert MR-3 and MR-4 racing carburetors featured larger bowls to provide additional fuel capacity under extended wide open throttle conditions. Due to their shape Racers soon nick-named them "bean pot". They make for a very good performance upgrade for stroker engines or other horsepower directed modifications. These reproductions are complete assemblies with nitrophyl float, bowl cap, lever, bushings & pin, metal tipped needle and seat. There is a relief machined into the side of the bowl as original to clear the lower throttle shaft casting on the carb body.

After installation the throttle disc will be pulled to open and the spring closes it again, when you release the throttle grip. Each kit comes with two springs to meet individual requirements. The weaker spring (Fn≈23 N) should be sufficient for most outside cable applications, the stronger spring (Fn≈58 N) is recommended for internal or very long throttle cables.
