45”/750 cc →1952, V-Series & Singles

Front brake for single cylinder and 45".

Just like with IOE Big Twin models, the first front brake on the Singles (A and B models) and Harley-Davidson 45"/750 cc Flathead models was a half-hub drum brake. Introduced in 1928, too, and spoked the same way with a set of short spokes on the left side. This remained like this with some small technical changes only until 1952 (except for Servi-cars 1941-up and WLC).

The range of W&W Cycles

It includes almost all components involved, from brake drums to brake shoes, to brake base plates and brake cams. In addition, the appropriate actuating elements such as brake levers, brake cables and mounting parts.

Front brake for V model series

The large side valves from 1930-1936 had a front brake drum that was connected to the wheel hub via splines. Unfortunately, the major components of this design are not available as reproductions. What fits as individual spare parts is listed below.
