Wide Hub “→1999”-Type
This hub is stock replacement for FL 1973–1981 and FX 1973-E1982, however, it is also perfectly suited for cast wheel to spoke wheel conversions. May be used on later models thru 1999 with proper spacers (front only in Wide Glide forks). For front wheel installation we recommend our flange hole reducers.
When installing wheels and hubs it is important to check the position in the fork or frame/swingarm and to align brake rotors, calipers, sprocket/pulley accordingly. For this purpose we offer a range of bushings and spacers.

Bates Reducer Bushings for Mounting Holes on Wheel Hub Flanges
These bushings come in handy when attaching front brake rotors to rear wheel hubs with 3/8” and 7/16” flange holes. They reduce the ID to 5/16” or 3/8” so your rotor bolts are well centered.

Tire Valve Fishing Tool
Fumbling the tube valve through its hole in the wheel rim can be a real pain. This smart tool makes the job a lot easier with its 21 cm cable and "fishing hook". Just route the cable through the rim hole and attach its threaded tip to the valve core. Now you can pull the core through the rim without pinching your fingers or damaging the threads.
