Fairings
Handlebar-mounted fairings for Harley-Davidson motorcycles
The racers among the Harley riders have always liked to duck behind a fairing to get a few more mph out of the V2 cylinder. It doesn't always have to be a "full and complete fairing", as on Joe Petrali's legendary 136.183 mph Special Knucklehead. By the way, during the actual record ride he had to make do with the handlebar fairing, because the rear fairing caused handling problems.
So it's good enough to duck behind a handlebar fairing, of which we present you a small selection, among others from Airtech and Arlen Ness. In addition, a classic English racing fairing, which is already called as fast as it is: Avon. This is especially recommended for Sportster, as our ice racer shows. But also Dyna and even FXWG gain in appearance and top speed if you add a fairing.
And yes, Air Dams actually belong to the fairings section. If you miss them here, click the link to get there.
