Quality information re. Cannonball Crankcases.

The W&W Cycles AG selection of Cannonball engine cases are not related in any way in terms of manufacture or distribution to the products of Motortechnic mfg (distributed in the USA by V-Twin mfg/Tedd Cycle Inc., among others).

We have been working for years with three German companies selected by us, who carry out the casting and machining, including the fitting and honing of the bearing races for the crankshaft.

For this reason we grant our own manufacturer's warranty for Cannonball products.

Truett & Osborn Flywheels

Truett & Osborn Flywheels

Worn flywheels are a major obstacle during the rebuild of an engine, mostly with big expenses required to put them back into service. In such a case it is often more economic and safer to go for a new set. The Truett & Osborn flywheels offered here are manufactured from 80-55-06 ductile iron blanks, which are then heat treated. The 80,000 pound tensile strength blanks undergo an exacting 20-step manufacturing process, utilizing both CNC and conventional precision milling and machining. This insures accurate surfaces, legendary reliability, and excellent „truability“, an absolute necessity when setting up high performance motors to blueprint specifications. ...

These Knucklehead style cylinder heads are precise reproductions of the stock counterparts and show all the small details like cast-in number tags and foundry markings. Thus they make for great replacements for your worn top end or to build a factory look-alike engine. They are manufactured after 1940-1947 heads with large intake ports. The pre-installed, but unmachined valve seats are sized for stock intake and exhaust valves and hardened for the use of today’s unleaded fuels.

Cannonball Aluminum Cylinder Heads for Knucklehead

Reproductions of Knucklehead style cylinder heads, cast from aluminum.
