Both wire ends are laid in and have precision ground contact surfaces so the spring stays at a right angle when bolted down to the seat and bracket. An ID of 8 mm on one end and 11 or 15 mm on the other cover most situations. Available in two different spring rates.

These reproductions are meticulously made after the period accessories, with no detail left out. This means the detachable leather cover is fixed to the correctly fabricated and zinc-plated base plate with Phillips screws and countersunk washers.
