CHP Oil Feed Pumps for Flatheads
CHP Oil Feed Pumps for Flatheads
It’s a fact: when pushed, those trusty Flatheads get hot, or very hot to put it bluntly, which is also a result of low oil pump volume and pressure. The CHP pump is a once and for all cure for this problem. While looking stock on the outside it substantially raises the capacity of the engines lubrication system with its internal modern gerotor technology. Oil pressure with hot engine is typically around 30 psi, instead of 5 psi with stock pumps. Feed volume is about 1 quart per 45 seconds, while original pumps need 7-10 minutes for this. As a result the engine runs smoother and cooler and can handle more power without problems. Installation is easy as this is a a true bolt-on unit.

CHP Scavenger Pumps for Flatheads
CHP Scavenger Pumps for Flatheads
The perfect complement for the CHP feed pumps to compensate for the increased supply volume. The wider gears of the CHP scavenger pump effectively raise the return oil volume by about 40%. Will also work with stock feed pumps, of course. Installation is easy as this is a a true bolt-on unit. The Big Twin version features a 10° angled fitting so the oil line clears the frame.

S&S Oil Pumps
S&S Oil Pumps
Complete oil pump assemblies to solve oil supply problems on OHV Big Twin engines 1936-up except Twin Cam models. Can be used to update bikes with earlier cast iron pumps or as a direct replacement on later models with aluminum pumps. The pump body is CNC machined from billet aluminum which enhances the overall appearance of any engine. Compared to 1936-67 pumps the S&S product delivers 33% more oil. For maximum versatility they feature various fittings to either duplicate the original oil line routing or tailor one to suit custom requirements. Installations on engines from 1936–69 are strictly bolt-on, also engines 1981-up require no modifications. Other crankcase year groups require a simple drilling or plugging step. For this purpose a special metal drill jig is required and available.

S&S High Volume High Pressure Oil Pump Evolution
S&S High Volume High Pressure Oil Pump Evolution
The S&S High Volume High Pressure (HVHP) billet oil pump is a high capacity pump that was designed for the S&S Super Sidewinder Plus Engines. The SSW+ engines feature piston cooling jets that spray oil on the underside of the pistons. In order to supply enough oil for the cooling jets in addition to the oil requirements of the rest of the engine, a more efficient pump was needed. Although the HVHP oil pumps are very similar in appearance to the standard S&S billet pumps, there are several important differences.
Special design features: A new tooth profile with fewer, but larger teeth, provides increased oil volume for both supply and return sides of the pump., Supply gears are 9% wider than stock or standard S&S oil pumps to give the HVHP pump even more oil capacity., Return gears are 28% wider than stock or standard S&S pumps to insure that the additional volume of oil supplied to the engine is scavenged and returned to the oil tank, preventing oil carry over from the crankcase breather., In spite of wider supply and return gears, the HVHP pump is no thicker than stock and uses the stock oil pump drive shaft. , The universal cover has a number of oil feed and return options allowing maximum flexibility for customized installations., Each pump includes supply and return gears, drive shaft, snap rings, miscellaneous hose fittings, gaskets and mounting hardware.,
