Bates Fender Mounts

Front fender used as stock replacement for all late 1988-1992 Springer Softail models with stock Springer fork.

Good things always come back, even if it sometimes takes some 80 years. This lock type was available as an accessory during the 1920’s and 1930’s and the Bates lock is made after a historic pattern of that era. The main advantage is that the lock always stays on the fork during the ride without the need to stow it in the saddlebag or elsewhere. To bar the wheel simply swivel the stainless steel rod (Ø 12 mm) from its home postion, guide it through the wheel to the other side of the fork and lock it there. Easy installation on the spring fork with low profile aluminum clamps. The selection includes locks for OEM Springer forks and clamps for W&W Classic Springer and I-Beam forks.
