Axle bushings

Thru axles do not live alone, but always coexist with their matching axle bushings, spacers and axle nuts. Axle bushings ensure that the wheel is centered in the frame, swingarm and front fork so that the steering axle is on the center planes of the wheels.

Axle bushing range

Because Harley-Davidson has been using thru axles since 1930, there is a wide selection of frame and fork specific axle bushings, wherever possible in a wide variety of finishes. You can find the right axle bushing either by using the original part number from the parts manual or, if different models and years are mixed in your personal Harley, by using the dimensions published with each part.
