The smallest round instruments with easy-to-read scales.
Hell of a thing, it was all the hype in the 1990s when MMB released the first mechanical speedometers and tachometers with a case diameter of 48 mm. Somehow they had managed to pack the whole drive train into that mini case. In the meantime, instruments of this size have become a quasi-standard in customizing. They are available with a classic mechanical drive and an electronic version for connection to speed sensors. The latter have a servomotor that moves the pointer. Pointer? Yep, all these little instruments display analog. That's also the secret why there are no smaller round instruments yet: readability at a glance would suffer.
Model variety and quality
Look and functionality are crucial. The manufacturers MMB and motogadget offer various scale designs with integrated control LEDs and many years of experience in measurement and display technology, and everything is made in Germany.
