Reproduction of the original 45" foot clutch pedals 1938-1952.

The footboard mounting system on 750 cc Twin models from Harley-Davidson is built in several stages. A crossbar is fitted and bolted through a mounting eye on the frame tubes both in front of and behind the engine. On each side, a spring-steel bracket is mounted between these two bars. The left bracket carries the riveted support for the clutch pedal, while the right bracket carries the support for the brake pedal. The actual footboard supports are then bolted to these brackets – small bars with a square cross-section. Those are exactly the parts offered here. Available either with a matte zinc-nickel finish as a replacement for the original cadmium-plated parts or with a parkerized phosphate coating. Nuts and washers are available separately.

Footboard support rods for 750 cc flathead models from Harley-Davidson feature a 5/8” or even 3/4” fine thread in the center for attachment to the frame tubes. The ends are stepped down to 3/8” and serve to mount the spring-steel footboard brackets.

This sidebar allows the attachment of the right footboard and the brake pedal of W/G models 1939-1954.
