Installation is bolt-on, but turn signals have to be relocated. If you prefer to keep the turn signals where they are you will have to drill and tap one 3/8" UNC hole into the fenderstruts to mount the Quicklock system.

1984-1999 FLSTC, FXSTS, FXSTC, FLSTF, 1993-96 FLSTN, 2000-02 FLSTC, 2005-17 FLSTN, 2018→ all,
On all other Softail models for a proper installation the turn signals have to be relocated.

From the half-moon plates that Harley-Davidson offered as early as the mid-1930s to connect bags and fenders on V-, Knucklehead- and 750cc models, to the sophisticated assembly kits with support rollers and quick-lock from the manufacturer Lejonkulan, W&W Cycles offers a wide range of supports and mounts for 45”, Knucklehead and Panhead in rigid frames or Sportster, Dyna and Softail. Protective bars from Fehling on the rear fender prevent the bag from getting caught in the spokes or chafing on the swingarm.
