Upsweep exhaust systems have always been a typical style feature on choppers and bobbers. The chromed Paughco Upsweep exhaust headers without crossover pipe are designed for Shovelhead engines in rigid frames with mechanical rear brakes. The routing of the rear header provides enough clearance for the short brake lever of the rear brake shaft, which runs transversely in front of the transmission. With the Paughco Upsweep header system, you have a solid foundation for an authentic 1950s chopper look.
