They look close to the originals but for ease of installation squish pipe and Y-pipe are designed as one piece.

After decades during which exhaust headers on Harley-Davidson motorcycles were simply inserted into the cylinders (heads) or clamped in place, the engineers in Milwaukee came up with a screw connection for the Shovelhead cylinder heads of the big twins from 1966–1984. The required internal hex screw was simply threaded into a single tapped hole in the flange on the cylinder head....
