for Models 1974→, Inner-Ø 1”/ 1-1/8”, to fit OEM Throttle Grip Sleeves
You are looking for rubber grips for your Harley? Then you are right here. At least if you have a handlebar, which is smooth and round at the ends and on which a plastic throttle grip sleeve is on the right. The grip sleeves of Harley throttle grips have a diameter of 1-1/8", that is 28.5...28.6 mm.
Change grip rubbers
They still exist, the grip rubbers, which some well-meaning previous owner has glued on the handlebar and the throttle sleeve for good. Then only pure force helps to dismantle. All others can make it easier: on the side facing the controls, insert a blade or zthin rod carefully between the rubber and the handlebar tube and spray WD40 in the slot. The WD40 spreads due to capillary action and after a few minutes you can pull off the old rubber. Before putting on the new grips, clean the handlebar outside and the rubber inside with PanAm Grease Fighter. As a short-term effective lubricant for mounting, take water or cleaner. This evaporates without a trace and the rubbers remain immovable. To secure the rubber, do not use glue, but - an old trick from off-road sports - put a double wire ring around the rubber.
