Gravel, stones, porcupines - at some point the accumulated dirt has to come off of your Harley. Cleaning and care not only make your bike more pleasing to the eye, but are also essential for its function and its value retention. Otherwise you'll end up with a piece of junk instead of a beautiful bike from Milwaukee. Once the dirt has been removed and the paintwork cleaned, it should be polished and sealed with wax. Once you've done this, you can head back out into the countryside. Because the next time you wash your bike, the grime will come off much more easily.

Cleaning with a cloth

Detergents in any form can help with cleaning and polishing. Some kinds of dirt cannot be removed without the help of chemicals. However, experience shows that some elbow grease is always involved. Cotton cleaning and polishing cloths from PanAm and Dock66 have the advantage that you can wash them (no, not together with your Sunday shirt!) and they can be reused lots of times. And because the cleaning agents degrease everything, including the hands, the professionals advise wearing gloves when cleaning and polishing.
