Leather and textile care and cleaning

Special products are used to care for clothing worn on motorcycle trips. This clothing - whether textile, i.e. made of fabric, or classic leather - is exposed to influences and weather conditions different than our normal clothes. Rain is kept at bay with wax and waterproofing agents, but such products also protect the fibers against the sun light. For if the fibers are damaged and getting brittle, this is of no use at all in the event of an accident. But that's what clothes are supposed to protect us from, whether it's a motorcycle jacket or trousers. Regular cleaning with warm water and a mild soap and subsequent care with waxes and greases is the be-all and end-all for many years of enjoyment of these extremely important pieces of personal equipment.
