Bulbs H4 (P43t)

Since 1971 H4 headlight bulbs are marketed. They count with brighter light and higher longevity than former good ol' Osram Bilux bulbs and have developped into the standard light bulb on singlke headlight applications for motorbikes.
Being first available in 12V versions only nowadays there are even 6 V H4 bulbs. Of course, 6 V bikes merit bright headlights, too. Anyway who installs 6 V H4 bulbs should have a look at the fuse: 60 W @ 6 V mean 10 A on the low beam wire.

Bulbs P25 (PX15d)

Early type of double filament bulb for headlights. This so-called pre-focus bulb offsets the low beam filament slightly from the reflector focus and this way dips the light beam. Simple and effective, still in use today in many countries.

Bulbs American Pre-focus dual filament (P15d)

The US version of the pre-focus dual-filament bulb features a P15d base with three guide slots. The slot arrangement allows installation in only one position, ensuring the low beam filament is always correctly aligned. Original replacement for all headlights on Harley-Davidson Springer forks equipped with the original three-tab reflector.

Bulbs H4 Hybrid (P45t)
