No measuring individual rollers, no setting bearing play with thin shims: unlike earlier Harley-Davidson wheel bearings built from individual parts, ball bearings are a neat solution. Remove the bearing, press in the new one, and the spacer sleeve can be reused. Industrial manufacturing of the bearings ensures dimensional accuracy and consistent quality.
