An Illustrated Harley-Davidson Technical History 1915-1965

This book is condensed from earlier volmes totalling over 6,000 pages, and shows color photographs by year of original paint or accurately restored machines. Readers are referred to these volumes for more details, in particular to a set of dealer announcements and sales brochures 1930-65, a complete run of the 450 monthly Enthusiast magazines from August 1929 to December 1965, and full color photographs of additional motorcycles. This book concentrated on the flagship Big Twin models, but some details are also included fro the 1919-23 Sport model, the 1926-34 singles, the 1929-73 side valve small twins, 1952-56 K models, the 1957 up Sportster and the 1948 onwards small two strokes.
