These sprockets feature -1.5 mm offset compared to stock sprockets of the 1990-1991 year group. This allows for the use of wider O-ring type chains. Chain alignment to the rear wheel sprocket must be checked and corrected if necessary.

Since the mid 1970es the name PBI stands for high quality sprockets. After precise manufacturing the transmission sprockets are electroless nickel-plated against corrosion. Electroless plating provides a uniform deposit thickness, disregarding the shape of the plated object.
These transmission sprockets are made for narrow 520 chains (5/8” x 1/4” pitch) and fit 5 speed Sportsters 1991 and up. Their object is to realize somewhat wider tires with as little drive train offset as possible. Sports oriented riders like the narrow chains for their lower rolling resistance.

Solve installation problems when mounting wide rear tires. No more offset spoking necessary. Installation on stock bikes requires an inner primary housing for secondary belt drive. 1979-85 FX models need to retrofit a Prestolite starter.

These special sprocket kits move the rear drive chain as far away from the tire as possible and permit installation of wide > 130 mm series tires. The complete kits include the front sprocket and a spacer for the rear sprocket to bring sprockets in line.

Offset chain sprocket by Krüger & Junginger, Germany. 24-tooth, for 5-speed Big Twins. This sprocket allows installation of up to 200 series tires into stock Softail swingarms. For basic dimensions consult sketch.

Allows installation of 150 series tire by converting from belt to
chain drive. Also facilitate final drive ratio changes by converting the stock secondary belt to chain drive. Together with our sprocket spacer 77-556, these kits can also be used on 5-speed Sportsters. Must be used with 1973-85 4-speed rear sprockets.

Three versions available. Two stock lengths and 0.75” long. The stock spacers are required for rear belt to rear chain conversions. The shorter spacer is used with offset sprockets and wide rear tires (up to 150 mm) to prevent sprocket to sprocket cover contact.
