Colony Thru Taps for for Oversize Timing Hole Plugs
Thru tap for cutting threads for oversize timing hole plugs. It features a lead-in section for easier alignment of the tap.
Colony Bottoming Taps for Oversize Plug Holes
Colony offer bottoming taps which are a possibility to cut oversize threads without disassembling the crankcases or gear box. The chamfer of this type of taps is short enough in order for the to finish cut all threads with the tip merely protruding on the inside of the case. You should grease the tap flutes generously to prevent chips from being drawn towards the case inside.
