Ø 35 mm, for Sportster, FX and FXR 1984-1986
The 35 mm fork tubes for 1984-early 1986 were used in two standard lengths:
- 597 mm on all Sportsters (XL, XLS and XLX 1984-85, and XLH early 1986) and FXEF 1985, FXRS 1984-early 1986, and FXR early 1986.
- 648 mm on FXSB 1984-1985, FXRT 1983-early 1986, and FXRD early 1986.
Show Chrome
Show-chrome means a thin layer (up to 1 µm) on a highly polished base. In the course of use, a yellowish tone may develop in the sliding area of the fork bushings. There is no need to worry as long as there is no leakage on the seals.
