The original templates for these reproductions of the Harley-Davidson Halfmoon Saddlebag Mounting Plates were specifically designed for classic saddle bags. They represent the rare 1948 type with four flat mounting holes, used exclusively on Harley-Davidson models of that year.
Unlike custom mounting plates, these base plates are made of high-quality solid brass, just like the historical originals.
