Main Shaft Outer Bearing Supports

The transmission support is mandatory for all 1965–up 4-speed transmissions in combination with open belt drives or tin primaries, because the mainshaft of these transmissions has an additional support in the aluminum primary housing. If the housing has been removed, a supplementary transmission support is required.
