On Harley-Davidson Shovelhead models with an aluminum primary drive, lubrication of the primary chain is provided by this small drip oiler. It is pressed into the inner primary from the rear. A hose is then fitted to the 1/4” diameter tube connection, establishing the link to the oil pump.
