Early V models could be equipped with a magneto (Bosch DVA). The early housings from 1930-1931 were fitted with a blind screw which allowed the shaft for the idler gear to be relocated.
This gear set from The Cyclery can be used to convert V models from 1930-1931, and in rare cases also V models 1936, to horizontal magneto operation.

The MRA is a revolutionary new device which aids starting by retarding the timing on fixed-position magnetos, helping to turn the infamous kick-backs and spit-backs into starts. When the cap-mounted lever is flipped, the points 'shift' 10 degrees, retarding your timing 20 degrees for starting. When the motor runs the lever is then locked in the advanced position by a rare-earth magnet. You'll love it! Fits clockwise turning Morris magnetos and other identically constructed magnetos like Joe Hunt, Fairbanks, etc. with cast housings.

Back in the days it was common to carry a set of spare spark plugs easily accessible on the motorcycle. Thus in case of a necessary change you didn’t have to dig them up deep from the bottom of your saddlebags. These block-off plates with two threaded sockets derive from the race track and are intended for magneto equipped bikes without generator. They simply install in lieu of your genny and bolt down with the stock hardware.

Pre-TwinCam engines have a spring loaded ball check valve to prevent the engine oil from seeping down to the crankcase. These check valves don’t last forever. If you try to start your engine after a lengthy period of inactivity (e.g. winter), the oil in the crank case gets forcefully ejected via the breather. Creating an ungodly mess on your garage floor.
Installing a manually operated valve in the oil feed line from tank to oil pump can prevent this, but carries the risk of forgetting to open it. Resulting in major engine trouble. And we mean major.
This here nifty PanAm shut off valve is also installed in the feed line. With a little difference: once closed, the ignition is cut out too. No inadvertently starting the engine with this baby.
The tough polyamide housing has several mounting holes which offer all sorts of possibilities to secure it to the frame or other convenient hard points.
