AMAL Style Air/Ignition Control Levers

The MM3-type magnetos are mounted upright in place of the stock distributor. They fit flathead models from 1937 onward and Sportsters from 1957 to 1970. Timing is set manually to full retard for starting, and — if the mounting bolts are properly adjusted — the magneto will automatically rotate to the advanced timing position after the engine fires....

The design of these reproduction AMAL style levers goes back to the 1940’s and remained popular ever since. They are very detailed and show excellent craftsmanship. The selection includes clutch and brake levers, with or without small additional lever for air/ignition control. All versions are made to fit 1” handlebars. Clutch and brake cables have to be modified or fabricated.

Waterproof universal ignition switch which will work trouble-free even in heavy downpours. The switch features OFF-RUN-START and HORN positions/functions. Can be used without a starter relay. The OFF position can be used to ground magnetos.

The MM74E-type magnetos are mounted at a forward angle, replacing the stock distributor. They fit Knucklehead, Panhead, and Shovelhead engines from 1936 to 1969. Timing is manually set to full retard for starting, and—if the mounting screws are correctly adjusted—the unit automatically advances to full timing once the engine is running....

The AMAL Concentric Mk1 was introduced in 1966 and was a long awaited improvement of its predecessor, the Monobloc.
