Throttle twist grip with fitted rubber and matching left-hand grip rubber. Throttle grip with provision for throttle and return cable. It was Harley-Davidson original equipment for just one model year (1981), but of course also fits other applications, with the old switch housings or completely without switch housings.

Models 1981-1995

The original setup always uses two throttle cables: for added safety, the return spring on the carburetor is assisted by a separate return cable. Only a grip rubber is fitted on the left side, while from 1982 onward the separate throttle housing on the right handlebar side was eliminated. The throttle sleeve is then supported directly in the switch housing, and the throttle cables terminate at the underside of the switch housing.
