Bondhus had the best idea since the invention of socket head screws. Everybody who has worked with them can't do without them any more. The ball-shaped end permits the use even in hard-to-reach areas up to an angle of 25°.
Stubby hex keys have a shorter arm and are ideal for working in confined spaces where a standard hex key cannot be used. The 100° ball end allows the key to engage fasteners at an angle, making access to hard-to-reach screws easier. Inch sizes. The 1/4" key, for example, can be used on the hard-to-reach intake manifold screws of Harley-Davidson Evolution and Twin Cam models, making installation and removal easier.
