Kick Starter

Complete kits with all necessary parts to convert or restore K models and Sportster 1952-1978. No more trouble to collect all the small parts. The kits for Kick- and E-Start include a polished sprocket cover which accepts the stock electric starter.

From 1928 on, on their smaller displacement SV motorcycles (singles and twins) Harley-Davidson used two types of kickstarter return springs: smaller and narrower ones up to 1940 and the larger ones for 1941 and up, the latter by the way still on Sportster models until 1979. They are not interchangeable and should be chosen according to the year of the bike.
