Your old IOE machine will benefit from a performance cam, too, especially when combined with a later style 1-1/4” or 1-1/2” Linkert carburetor. Higher lift lobes and longer duration will improve breathing and easily free some extra ponies. The W&W Wrecking Crew tested this cam shaft in a 1929 JDL and the results were highly satisfying, with overall performance nicely improved on both public roads and occasional race track missions. Excellent European made quality.

These stock replacement cams for Big Twin Flatheads of the V series are similar to original parts but the lobes have been redsigned using modern computer cam design and smoothing techniques.

If you plan to build a real Hot Rod out of your V series Big Twin Flathead, we have the cams for you. These 4 bad babies feature cam lobes profiled after those legendary KHK models from 1956 and spell horsepower. However, all lobes have been redsigned using modern computer cam design and smoothing techniques. Of course these are not drop-in parts but require an experienced mechanic, who checks and establishes all necessary tolerances, like lifter clearance, case clearance and valve to head clearance. The set comprises 4 cams, generator idler gear and the pinion gear.

Quite a cool thing that The Cyclery has invented and presenting here. Instead of simply offering replacement ring nuts for the intake housings of IOE models, they have addressed the problem of loose intake housing nuts. Until now, the solution to this was to weld and/or rework the threads in the cylinders of the pocket-valve V2 engines.
The ravages of time, unilateral pressure from the inlet tappets and pushrods, heat that weakens the structure, a lack of care when retightening the ring nuts - all these factors contribute to the fact that after about 100 years, the threads in the cylinders into which these nuts are screwed have widened and are no longer cylindrical, but often also conical. So it makes complete sense to offer oversize nuts as an uncomplicated solution for such maltreated threads. This way, reworking, welding and similar costly repairs can be avoided.
The nuts are manufactured in different outer diameters and you order two or three sizes to check which one fits your cylinder best. Of course, we will take back the nuts you don't need, as long as you have treated them well and screwed them in with a suitable tool and not with a pipe wrench.

The connection between intake housing and cylinder of IOE models is prone to leaks. These washers provide a good seal which is important for an air tight intake system.

There are situations where the carburetor, notably the float bowl, lacks space to clear cooling fins, oil lines or other engine components. This is where these spacers come in handy as they bolt between the manifold and carburetor to postion your 3-bolt Schebler or Linkert further outside.

This adapter was used by the factory 1938-1940 and is required for all early type rockerboxes on the rear exhaust position to seal properly against the valve spring and rocker arm covers.

This device is meant to prevent the carburetor from icing up in cold temperatures. It is mounted underneath the float bowl, directly on the nozzle channel of Schebler HX carburetors. Can be fixed in the correct position with a clamping screw. The opening of this hot air connection points towards the rear cylinder, where it picks up the heat and warms up the fuel in the float bowl.

A common problem on Schebler DLX and Linkert M-series carburetors are stripped or damaged threads for the bowl nut. This repair bushing allows for a professional repair back to stock specs. Installation requires a lathe.

Every second Linkert carburetor has one or more stripped threads for the air cleaner backing plate. Getting them repaired to the stock #12-24 thread is not easy but these oversize thread screws solve the problem in no time. You just tap the stripped thread to 1/4”-20 and you're done. The 3/8” hex head is like stock so once installed you can't see a difference.

Reproduction of the oil bath air filter used in the Harley-Davidson WLA and WLC models of the US and Canadian Army. Efficient cleaning of the intake air is particularly important during operations in the field, as dirt particles sucked into the engine increase wear and cause material failure. This is detrimental to combat capability. To keep the risk of failure as low as possible, all military motorcycles were equipped with oil bath air filters.
Original filters of this type clean the air sucked in by the engine by guiding the air flow over the surface of an oil sump at the bottom of the air filter bowl. In doing so, dirt particles adhere to the surface of the oil. Unlike the original oil bath air filters, which work with a wire mesh and oil, the The Cyclery air cleaner reproduction kit is supplied with a paper filter element and used without oil!
In appearance, this is the early “louvered” version of the short, round oil bath air cleaner, fitted with an open inlet slot. This version was used on 42WLA Type I-A, the first 42WLA Type I-B and 42WLC models. The later 42WLA Type I-B were already supplied with the “full-covered” version of the short, round oil bath air filter.
