Rotors

Rotors are central components in the charging systems of Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Depending on the version, they are mounted on the crankshaft or sprocket shaft and work together with the stator and regulator to ensure a stable power supply for ignition, battery, and electrical consumers. Fit, material quality, and magnetization directly affect charging performance, heat generation, and system longevity.

The range offered covers a wide spectrum – from classic Big Twin models to newer Sportster, Dyna, Softail, and Touring series. The assortment includes standard and OEM-accurate steel rotors designed as replacements for original Harley-Davidson parts, as well as performance-oriented variants, such as for 38-amp charging systems. For certain applications, rotors with integrated clutch baskets are also available, as used on selected Sportster models.

All rotors are year- and model-specific and replace the corresponding OEM part numbers, making them suitable for repairs, maintenance, or replacement during a restoration. Replacement is particularly recommended for worn teeth, demagnetized rotors, or damaged mounts, especially on motorcycles with increased electrical load due to accessories.
