Pull starter as a replacement for magneto switch and starter electronics for Harley-Davidson models from 1965–1988. The original magneto switches and starter electronics were maintenance-intensive.
The pull starter replaces the magneto switch and the entire wiring to the handlebars. The part, machined from aluminum and equipped with a jockey lever, also offers an appealing appearance. Installation is done directly on the inner primary case in place of the magneto switch.
A special starter relay is required for operation, which must be purchased separately.
