Parts for Keihin CV Carburetors

A stainless steel bracket which allows you to relocate your CV-Carburetor choke cable - without disassembly - to the right side of your Sportster, FXR, Dyna or Softail. Mounts switches or the like, too, of course.

The selection of air horns, velocity stacks and carb covers for Linkert carburetors is pretty extensive and many of them look nicely at home on a CV-carb, too. With this little adapter plate you can make this happen in no time. Precisely CNC-machined from billet for a hassle-free installation.
Since the bolt circle for Linkert carbs is smaller than CV carb bolt circles the adapter somewhat restricts the air intake. All you performance nuts should consider this.

This adapter allows for the installation of OEM or aftermarket air cleaners with recessed backing plate on Keihin CV carburetors. At least that’s what it is intended for, but of course, you can mount any air cleaner, carb cover or air horn with a Tillotson, Bendix or Keihin bolt pattern. It is also useful with large or low mounted gas tanks, because it positions the air cleaner further to the right by 21 mm.

Idle adjustment of Keihin carbs can be annoying because the adjusting screw is somewhat hard to reach, in particular with stock air cleaners and large gas tanks. The Bates adjuster solves this problem once and for all. It features a flexible shaft and a large adjuster knob with knurled edge which allows carb adjustment without a screwdriver and as fast as you can say "****! I forgot my ******* tool roll in the garage!"

Originally developed for race bikes to speed up jet changes but today they are popular among street riders, too. The set comprises four screws with large knurled heads for easy installation and removal of your float bowl without tools.

If you need additional room between your air cleaner and the engine or fuel tank, these spacers will do the trick. Compatible with almost any CV bolt pattern air cleaner.

The installation of a a CV carburetor with Custom air cleaner on a Panhead, Shovelhead or Ironhead Sportster involves two problems:
the protruding upper carb end interferes with the commonly flat backing plates of accessory air cleaners, omission of the stock CV air cleaner results in an unsupported carburetor,
This smart kit inludes a 3 mm spacer plate, which resolves the first problem and a flange adapter with two spiral springs to connect spacer and plate and thus safely hold the carburetor in its rubber flange = resolution of the second problem.
Will fit all motors with 2-bolt Tillotson, Bendix or Keihin (butterfly) manifolds. Installation also requires a 2-bolt flange adapter and a carburetor support bracket, which both need to be purchased separately.

To mount custom air cleaners with a flat backing plate on CV carburetors, the air filter backing plate must move further out, otherwise it will be in contact with the vacuum chamber. These spacers provide the required distance.

Give your CV carburetor a fresh look with the ribbed top cover by Bates. The cast-in Bates “B” adorns the front center of the cover.

If you own a Shovelhead, Panhead or Ironhead Sportster, this bracket is for you. It allows attaching a CV carburetor to 2-bolt Tillotson, Bendix or Keihin (butterfly) manifolds. The bracket even has a mount for the CV-carburetor choke cable. Longer screws and little spacers to go to the carburetor lid are included.
