The complete front brake assembly for Big Twins, WLC and Servicar 1936-57. Great for ground-up bike projects because one part number orders the complete assembly.

  • fits Knucklehead 1936, Big Twin 1937-1948, Servi-Car 1941-1957, WLC
  • steel, black, powder-coated, cad-plated lever
  • with brake drum, baseplate, brake shoes, gasket kit
  • replaces Harley-Davidson part number 44113-36, 44146-41, 44402-36, 44265-36, and 44449-36

Possible assembly fault and brake drum failure.

Some brake drum/wheel hub combinations require one or more spacer shims (front W&W 27-748, rear 27-746) to prevent them from touching the hub’s spoke rim. The brake drum must not touch the hub’s spoke flange. This might result in the drum breaking when tightening lug bolts.
