These 40 mm flat throttle slide carburetors are made by Mikuni and especially designed for Harley-Davidson's Shovelhead and Evolution engines. The advantages of the popular HS40 carburetor are its easy installation, improved starting, more torque throughout the RPM range and fully adjustable accelerator pump. Mikuni HS40 carburetors are designed for use with pull and idle cables.
The kit is supplied with a rubber adapter for manifolds with two-hole flange. If the carburetor kit is to be mounted on a motorcycle with CV carburetor and the corresponding manifold into which the carburetor is inserted, an adapter WW 65-289 must be purchased.

Helix PU Carburetor Vent Lines/Overflow Hoses
These transparent lines by Helix can be used as carburetor vent lines or overflow hoses. They are made from premium polyurethane with a Shore hardness of 85, which provides for superior resistance against abrasions, kink, tear, oxidation and chemical influences. It has a melting temperature of 188°C and an operating temperature range of -59° to +68°C. This line material will not get hard and stays flexible.
