High rpm, hot cams and increased spring weights in High Performance engines means increased demand on the tappet and tappet roller. JIMS Powerglide tappets were developed to meet this challenge.
The billet steel, CNC-machined tappet body with hand-honed cavity holds a superior hydraulic unit. The total dynamic load capacities have been increased over 30% straight across the board.
