The Dyna S ignition from Dynatek fits all Harley-Davidson cam covers on Big Twins (1970–1999) and Sportsters (1971–2003). It can serve as an electronic replacement for the original breaker points and condenser through 1978 or as a substitute for faulty control modules on Late Shovel and Evolution engines. Models originally equipped with electronic ignition require an additional advance mechanism. The Dyna S switches much more precisely than mechanical points. The advance timing adjustment is purely mechanical and, once correctly set, requires no maintenance. Available as Dual Fire (both cylinders fire simultaneously, as in the original) or Single Fire (each cylinder fires separately at the end of its compression stroke).

Tach-Adaptor must be used whenever a Dyna S Single Fire ignition system is installed on a H-D with electronic tachometer. T101 type works with most tachs on the market. Some exceptions require the T103 type. In this case we refund the non-compatible adaptor.

The programmable Dyna 2000i ignition system fits all 1200 and 1340 Late Shovelhead or Evolution cam covers, as well as Sportster models from 1970 to 2003. All you need in addition is the small metal rotor and a 3-ohm Evo-style ignition coil — if your bike isn’t already equipped. The Dyna 2000i replaces breaker points or stock electronic ignition systems and offers additionally several very welcome features. It is absolutely amazing how many functions the DYNATEK engineers packed into this small unit. However, with the optional programming kit, it can be switched over for kickstart setups.

Dynatek performance ignition module for Harley-Davidson Twin Cam carburetor models (1999–2003) and Sportster models (2004–2006). This single-fire ignition offers 16 individually selectable ignition curves in three categories: stock or lightly modified engine, heavily modified engine, and high-performance applications. The integrated rev limiter can be set in eight steps, in 250 RPM increments from 5750 to 7250 RPM. Compatible with all Harley ignition coils with a primary resistance under 1 Ω. Coil voltage is continuously monitored to ensure maximum spark energy. Installation is straightforward via plug-in connections to the original Harley-Davidson wiring harness, with all original sensors remaining in operation. The module is protected against voltage spikes and incorrect installation.

The Dynatek 2-in-1 ignition coil with two high voltage towers features almost the same dimensions as the standard coil on Evolution models, but combines two coils in one housing. If you replace the standard ignition of your Evo — whether a 1340 or a Sportster — with a single fire ignition, which provides its own spark to each cylinder, you need two separate ignition coils. The 2-in-1 ignition coil is a super-compact alternative here, as it doesn't require any extra brackets. The mounting points are the same as those for the standard coil on Evo models. Please note: This ignition coil is not suitable for contact ignitions or Dyna S single fire.

With two spark plugs per cylinder head on the Harley with a two-cylinder engine and a single fire ignition system that assigns the appropriate ignition spark to each cylinder, four ignition cables are required for a total of two ignition coils. Two ignition coils require a lot of space and a new bracket. As an alternative, Dynatek offers a 2-in-1 ignition coil with a total of four ignition cable connections. The mounting points are the same as those of the standard ignition coil on Evo models, whether 1340 or Sportster. The coil is suitable for electronic ignitions such as Dyna 2000i, but not for contacts or the Dyna S Single Fire ignition.
