The Dyna ”S” is a high performance ignition system that installs into any Big Twin 1970-1999 or Sportster 1971-2003 cam cover. It features a magnetic rotor (sender) in combination with base plate mounted receiver. Models equipped with factory electronic ignition systems require a complete advance unit assembly. Available as dual fire - both cylinders fire at the same time (like stock) - or single fire, i.e. each cylinder fires individually at the end of its compression stroke.

Tach-Adaptor must be used whenever a Dyna S Single Fire ignition system is installed on a H-D with electronic tachometer. T101 type works with most tachs on the market. Some exceptions require the T103 type. In this case we refund the non-compatible adaptor.

The programmable Dyna 2000i ignition system fits all 1200 and 1340 Late Shovelhead or Evolution cam covers, as well as Sportster models from 1970 to 2003. All you need in addition is the small metal rotor and a 3-ohm Evo-style ignition coil — if your bike isn’t already equipped. The Dyna 2000i replaces breaker points or stock electronic ignition systems and offers additionally several very welcome features. It is absolutely amazing how many functions the DYNATEK engineers packed into this small unit. Operates as single or dual fire system with single or dual plug heads, 8 advance curves to cover all engine builds and riding styles., Rev limiter adjustable from 6000 to 7500 rpm., Adjustable timing retard for nitrous and turbo applications., VOES status indicator., Built in hook-up for tach, shift light and auto shifters., Indicator for static timing., Intelligent over current and short circuit protection, Avtive dwell control of coil current, Aluminum housing and epoxy encapsulation provide resistance to shock, vibration, heat and moisture., As delivered, the Dyna 2000i is set up for electric start. However, with the optional programming kit, it can be switched over for kickstart setups.

The programming kit will bring your Dyna 2000i to the next performance level and will add the following features to specifically tune your engine: 8 point fully definable wide open throttle curve , 8 point fully definable part throttle curve, Rev limit programmable in 50 rpm steps , Programmable rear cylinder offset, total of +/- 10 degrees, Security lock out (pin# activated), Single or dual fire mode, factory setting of 3 dead revs like stock H-D for high compression motors using an electric starter, allows reprogramming the dead revs back to zero for kickstart bikes (= engine fires immediately), Data Recording: Total engine hours , Time at wide open throttle, Number of engine starts, Maximum rpm, Seconds near rev limit,

Performance ignition system by Dynatek for all carbureted Twin Cam models 1999-2003 and Sportsters 2004-2006. This single fire system provides 16 switch programmable advance curves -in 3 groups for stock to slightly modified, heavily modified or insanely modified motors - and 8 rev limiter settings in 250 rpm steps from 5750-7250 rpm. Coils from stock to performance coils with less than 1 Ω resistance. The coil current is constantly monitored to continuously provide full spark energy. Installation is simple with all stock sensors and OEM  connectors used. Fully protected against reverse battery and spike voltages.

Require special mounting supports.

The Dynatek 2-in-1 ignition coil with two high voltage towers features almost the same dimensions as the standard coil on Evolution models, but combines two coils in one housing. If you replace the standard ignition of your Evo — whether a 1340 or a Sportster — with a single fire ignition, which provides its own spark to each cylinder, you need two separate ignition coils. The 2-in-1 ignition coil is a super-compact alternative here, as it doesn't require any extra brackets. The mounting points are the same as those for the standard coil on Evo models. Please note: This ignition coil is not suitable for contact ignitions or Dyna S single fire.

With two spark plugs per cylinder head on the Harley with a two-cylinder engine and a single fire ignition system that assigns the appropriate ignition spark to each cylinder, four ignition cables are required for a total of two ignition coils. Two ignition coils require a lot of space and a new bracket. As an alternative, Dynatek offers a 2-in-1 ignition coil with a total of four ignition cable connections. The mounting points are the same as those of the standard ignition coil on Evo models, whether 1340 or Sportster. The coil is suitable for electronic ignitions such as Dyna 2000i, but not for contacts or the Dyna S Single Fire ignition.
