The V-Twin engines later known as "Knuckleheads" were the first production Harleys with valves in the cylinder head. From the mid-1930s to the late 1940s, they were the fastest American <strong>production</strong> motorcycles. Since the earliest examples are now around 90 years old, good replacement parts are rare. This also applies to rocker arms and their shafts. Because both usually wear out equally, these parts are available for Knuckleheads as a set from S&S....

Reproductions of Knucklehead style cylinder heads, cast from aluminum. The advantages of this material are obvious: besides the significant weight savings of approx. 4 kg per head, they dissipate heat much better than their cast iron counterparts.
