Following the trend and rising demand, Harley-Davidson introduced its first disc brake in 1972. From then on, the 1200 cc FL models used the iconic black, banana-shaped caliper, quickly nicknamed the “Bull’s Eye” for its two raised, machined rings. FX and Sportster models had it too, but only briefly—in 1973, just one year.
Our reproduction of this classic single-piston caliper comes with one minor cosmetic flaw: the manufacturer produces it with the front-side mounting hole found on the 1980-and-later versions.
